Discovery Cafés are a place for young people ages 12-17 who may be facing mental health, 

substance use, or other general life isues.

What is it?

We offer a fun, substance-free, and judgment-free space for games, art, music, outings, and

opportunities to learn about topics or skills that are important to you. We provide free snacks,

drinks, and light meals too! Youth are welcome to drop in as guests for up to three visits, and

then decide whether to continue on as a Member. Members then also participate in a weekly

Circle, where you share what’s on your mind without judgement or “counseling.”

Our staff are diverse and represent different cultures and religions. They are not therapists – they are listeners and supporters.

What do you need from me?

Be ready to have fun and connect with peers

Be 24-hours free from alcohol or illicit drugs, and tobacco- and vape-free while at the Café

Participate in a weekly Circle, and let the leader know if you cannot come (Members only)
