Hello Hancock

Mission Statement:

The bedrock of our community is the generosity and caring spirit of our citizens. At the Community Foundation of Hancock County, we work with both kind-hearted donors and hard-working nonprofits to continue to better our county with financial and human resources.

Now, with the help of a web developer called Betterflye, we are expanding the mission and purpose of Hello Hancock. Not only will this site provide a robust community calendar and scheduling tool, but it will also offer an online portal to connect caring citizens and nonprofits for volunteer opportunities to promote and expand community service. This online matching portal will allow nonprofits to list their volunteer opportunities, and citizens can search and sign up to volunteer. Kind of like eHarmony for volunteerism!

About Us:

The Community Foundation of Hancock County was created by and for the people in our local area in 1992. Its core purpose is to assist you in helping others. The Community Foundation is a nonprofit, public charity that promotes local philanthropy, convenes community initiatives, and supports nonprofit organizations.

By focusing on philanthropy with a kind heart and strategic mind we:
